We strive to make sure your experience is the best possible. Unfortunately, our historic building is not fully wheelchair accessible. Folding stools for use in the museum are available at the front desk. If you wish to borrow one please ask one of our members of staff.

Be sure to contact us before you visit, so we can discuss the possibilities together. Visitors who are unable to navigate their way through the museum are permitted to bring a companion with them for free.

Sustainability upgrades 2026

From March 2nd until October 2026, we are making our building more sustainable. The museum will be better insulated and will receive a new climate system. Good news: during these works, we will remain open with exhibitions just as you’re used to.

We do everything we can to minimise disruption, but you may still notice some effects. We kindly ask for your understanding and offer our apologies in advance. We are doing this for a good cause: from the end of September onwards, Foam will no longer use gas and our CO₂ emissions will be reduced by 22,000 kilos per year, comparable to the annual energy consumption of six to eight Dutch households.
