Frame your Feed
In this workshop, students explore how artists own a visual language, how they display their feed in an exhibition and what their societal statement is. Together, they work towards their own statement and make a social media feed that would fit this.
About the workshop
Through which frame do you view the world? How does a photographer decide what you get to see and what remains hidden? And what does your social media feed reveal about you?
In Frame your Feed, students investigate their own feed on social media. Following the work of artists in Foam, students look at the statements they make with their feeds and how they choose to frame images and imagery. Students then question each other on what their values are, what they stand for, what they are committed to (however small or large it may be) and how you can see this reflected in images. They create their ideal feed within Canva and present it to each other.
