, de eerste museale solotentoonstelling van 

 alumna Hajar Benjida. In de tentoonstelling staat Magic City centraal, een invloedrijke stripclub in Atlanta die een cultureel epicentrum vormt waar hiphop-cultuur en entertainment samensmelten. 

 is een eerbetoon aan de vrouwen achter Atlanta’s invloedrijke hiphop-industrie, een stad die Benjida beschouwt als bepalend voor het wereldwijde geluid van het genre. Zij fungeren als de onofficiële culturele poortwachters van hun gemeenschap.

. Met een selectie van zijn meest iconische werken viert de tentoonstelling Parrs onmiskenbare blik, zijn geestige observaties van de samenleving en zijn blijvende fascinatie voor de rol van fotografie in het dagelijks leven.

Kom op donderdag 2 april van 17.00 tot 21.00 uur naar de opening van de tentoonstelling. Dit is Martin Parr zijn eerste solotentoonstelling in een Nederlands museum in meer dan twintig jaar.

Foam neemt duurzaamheidsmaatregelen om het historische gebouw klaar te maken voor de toekomst. Van 2 maart tot en met 8 oktober 2026 worden verschillende werkzaamheden uitgevoerd om de duurzaamheids-standaarden te verbeteren. Tijdens deze periode blijft het museum gedeeltelijk geopend voor publiek.

Bezoekers kunnen in deze periode mogelijk hinder ondervinden van de werkzaamheden, zoals tijdelijke geluidsoverlast of aangepaste bezoekersroutes. Wij streven ernaar eventuele overlast tot een minimum te beperken. Foam blijft vrijwel de gehele periode geopend, met een tijdelijke sluiting van 27 augustus tot en met 16 september 2026. Op 17 september heropent het museum met drie nieuwe tentoonstellingen.
