Yoga at Foam
#MuseumGym

The lockdown measures in the Netherlands are weighing heavily on the museums. Shops and sports clubs are allowed to open, but culture is still inaccessible to the public.

We believe that art is an essential part of life and contributes to mental health. Therefore, Foam will open on 19 January 2022 as part of #MuseumGym.

Join a yoga class

Get recharged in one of our inspiring museum halls during a 20 minute walk-in Slow Flow Yoga. We will provide a series of classes between 16.00 and 18.00 hrs which you can join at any time. Please bring your own mat and water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. We follow all government safety regulations.

Find new focus in the silence of our museum, a perfect location for finding new energy surrounded by inspiring photography. The classes will help destress and relax, focussing on the shoulders and other 'office' muscles.

About #MuseumGym

Art inspires, connects and gives strength. Dutch museums are among the safest places to visit during this corona crisis. Museum visits are safe, and art viewing promotes our well-being and enjoyment.

With #MuseumGym, Foam wants to support the statement that the power of art is indispensable. Together, we want to ask for the reopening of culture in the Netherlands. Open arts & culture!

#MuseumGym #OpenCultuur

Foam is supported by de VriendenLoterij, Foam Members, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, the VandenEnde Foundation and the City of Amsterdam.

In 2022 Foam receives additional support from the Mondriaan Fund.
