On Wednesday 15 May, starting at 18.00, the exhibition Foam Talent opens at Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall. The exhibition is a showcase of 20 forward-thinking Foam Talents and their unique vision on contemporary photography. These artists cross and re-invent the medium of photography in their own way, creating an extremely diverse and gripping exhibition. Foam Talent | London will be on show at Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall from 15 May until 16 June.

An exhibition of the shortlisted artists of the annual prize established by The Photographers’ Gallery, London in 1996 in partnership with Deutsche Börse Group since 2005. This year the four shortlisted artists are Mark Ruwedel, Susan Meiselas, Arwed Messmer and Laia Abril.

Hosted in Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, Offprint London is one of the most important annual appointments of art publishing with a focus on photo books. Foam Magazine will be there with a selection of magazines and special offers. Furthermore, Assistant Editor of Foam Magazine Mariama Attah will lead a discussion about the most recent magazine Adorned, joined by some of the contributors.
Foam Talent Erik Madigan Heck will go into conversation with Andrew Sanigar, Thames & Hudson Commissioning Editor for Photography and Design. They will discuss Erik’s career to date, his art and fashion publication Nomenus and his many creative collaborations.

This auction concept, hosted by online auction house Paddle8, offers the unique opportunity to own a one-off postcard sized edition by a world-renowned photographer. Bid on any of 500 postcard-sized photographs and try to guess the creator. Money raised via the auction goes to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign. Participating photographers include Roger Ballen, Steve McCurry, Larry Fink, Julia Fullerton-Batten, Alison Jackson, Larry Clark and many more.
Drawing on David Goldblatt’s rich catalogue – and with interviews from Nadine Gordimer, Zanele Muholi, and William Kentridge – this documentary is a meditation on identity, place, and longing, set within the ever-shifting landscape of South Africa.
