Remake

Follow in the footsteps of famous photographers by copying an image from the collection very precisely. Only by looking very closely, you will discover the choices of a photographer.

About the workshop

During this workshop, you will follow in the footsteps of a well-known photographer by accurately copying a photo. Where do professional photographers want to take a photograph? By looking closely you will experience which choices a photographer makes and you will learn everything about photographic concepts such as frame, position, light, and composition.

The workshop starts with an interactive guided tour of 30 minutes, in which you will learn to look consciously at photography. You use this newly gained knowledge during a crash course Remake photography in our education classroom. In groups of 2 or 3 you try to copy a photo of the collection as precisely as possible. Together you will think about smart solutions to copy the original photo as precisely as possible. All the results will be presented on a big screen and jointly discussed.
