Anne de Vries (Den Haag, 1977) graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2002 as a visual artist. As part of his education, he was an exchange student at the prestigious Cooper Union art academy in New York.

Over the years, his work has been shown in many art- or fashion related exhibitions, publications and magazines. In 2007, Anne de Vries acted as guest curator at the Arnhem Mode Biënnale. De Vries exhibited his work in many places, such as Foam, W139 in Amsterdam and the Scope Hampton Video Festival in New York. His work is included in the permanent collection of Foam and Fotomuseum Winterthür, among others. De Vries is represented by Galerie Martin van Zomeren in Amsterdam.
