WORKSHOP | 7pm - 11pm
Get inspired by the work of Foam Talent Weronika Gęsicka (Poland, 1984) and be part of a real-life faceswap. Swap your face for one night with someone you do not know yet. Join the photo studio and take your new face into the night. Note: you will have to work for the real result - apps are prohibited and nothing will be retouched.

CBTV-LIVE | 8.30pm, 9.30pm, 10.30pm and 11.30pm
As part of the museum's 15th anniversary, Foam is organising a broad range of activities under the title Collaborate!. The collaboration with the academies KABK (NL) and ECAL (CH) brought together the duo Jonathan Hielkema and Vincent Levrat. Their initially mandatory collaboration evolved into the birth of a television channel: CBTV (Collaborate! TV). During Museumnacht, they exchange recordings and live interviews with talents about their own collaborations and involve visitors in the process of their live productions.

Splashed around the city over the past few weeks, you couldn’t have missed the head-turning work of photographer Jan Hoek and stylist Duran Lantink. Hoek and Lantink joined forces to develop this year’s Museumnacht campaign images. The two are long affiliated with Foam, going as far back as 2013 with Hoek’s solo exhibition at Foam 3h and last year the popular Sistaaz of the Castle project presented by Foam and FashionWeek Amsterdam. During Museumnacht Hoek and Lantink will discuss their collaborative energy and share a preview of their upcoming project.

Mirroring Life
is a retrospective exhibition of the work of photographer André Kertész (1894–1985). Kertész is famous today for his extraordinary contribution to the language of photography in the 20th century. The exhibition, with mainly black-and-white as well as a selection of colour photographs, explores his creative capacity, using unusual compositions to create a new perspective of reality. It is an homage to the photographer whom Henri Cartier-Bresson viewed as one of his mentors.

KERTÉSZ PHOTOBOOTH | 7pm - 2am
Using reflections, doubles and shadows, André Kertész continually plays with the suggestion of presence and absence, the difference between what we see and what we feel. His visual language made him into a leading figure of the Parisian avant-garde. Draw inspiration from the work on view in the exhibition before heading over to the special photobooth where you can be photographed in Kertész style.

The Kertész photobooth is supported by corporate partner Olympus.
