For the occasion of the exhibition Feast for the Eyes - The Story of Food in Photography, Foam organises a breakfast talk with sustainable entrepreneur Nina Pierson on Friday 18 January.

A Breakfast Talk with Nina Pierson, hosted by Foam curator Kim Knoppers. Together with her husband, Jop van de Graaf, Nina is responsible for SLA, the food chain that aims to inspire people to eat healthier and more sustainable. On social media she posts mouthwatering photographs of food that is healthy and responsibly sourced. During a plant-based breakfast Nina will share more about the importance of photography when it comes to transferring a more conscious lifestyle.

ABOUT FEAST FOR THE EYES
The exhibition shows a rich history of food photography - not only in the visual arts, but also in photojournalism, commercial and scientific photography. Ranging from the banality of the diner-breakfast special of Stephen Shore the to the allegorical still life of Laura Letinsky, the extensive exhibition Feast for the Eyes explores the most important figures and movements in food photography.
