1.1. 'Foam' means the Photography Museum Amsterdam Foundation, Keizersgracht 609, 1017 DS Amsterdam, telephone number +31 (0) 20 551 6500, Chamber of Commerce number 34153678.
1.2. The buyer is understood to be the legal person with whom Foam enters into a purchase agreement.
1.3 'Ticket' is understood to mean the document that is ordered and paid for on the website of Stichting Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam (Foam): www.foam.org and is printed by the visitor and the admission ticket is. "Visitor" means the person who purchases a ticket.
2.1 An order from the buyer is made if the buyer has fully completed the order form and sent it electronically to Foam by clicking on 'confirm' and clicking on it in the order procedure. The agreement between the buyer and Foam is established at the moment that Foam, after verification of the payment, has sent a ticket to the buyer by e-mail.
2.2 The tickets for access to Foam are not tied to a day or time and are valid up to and including one year after the day of purchase. The tickets for events and activities in Foam are only valid for the relevant event as indicated on the ticket and are therefore bound by day and time.
3.1. Payment is made in one of the ways indicated by Foam. Foam is entitled to demand a different payment method from the buyer than the one chosen by it.
3.2 Payment can be made via iDeal or credit card.
3.3 In addition to these terms and conditions, the various payment options respectively the terms and conditions of iDeal or the credit card company apply. The transaction costs for the credit card payments can be charged to the customer.
3.4. All prices are expressed in euros and include VAT, but excluding administration costs, if applicable.
3.5 Holders of certain cards or membership cards mentioned in the order procedure are eligible for a discount. If the visitor is eligible for a discount, the visitor must take the proof of discount with him and show it when visiting Foam. If this is not possible, the visitor pays the regular 'door rate' and the visitor must pay the difference. The discount is only valid for the person named on the relevant card, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
4. Refund and exchange ticket
4.1 It is not possible to change or cancel the ticket. Tickets are not personal and therefore transferable.
4.2 If an activity or event is canceled by Foam or the date is changed, the buyer can return the tickets at the Foam checkout and the buyer will receive the purchase amount of the tickets back.
5. Event cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the event, Foam will contact all buyers of the ticket as soon as possible to make a change or refund of the ticket possible. The contact will take place by e-mail. Visitors are advised to check their email inbox on the day of the visit in order to save an unnecessary journey.
6. Complaint handling
6.1 Complaints about and requests for recovery regarding the agreement between Foam and the buyer must reach Foam in writing or by e-mail within 30 days after the visit. Complaints and requests for complaints submitted after this period will not be processed. The complaint can be sent to: email@example.com
6.2 Foam investigates the complaint and answers it in writing or by email within 30 days of receipt. If the investigation has not yet been completed, the complainant will be informed of this, as well as the probable moment at which it will be.
7. Personal information
The data entered when purchasing a ticket will be used to execute the agreement. The execution of the agreement means: the purchase, the electronic dispatch, the control of the ticket and the possible handling of questions. The entered data can also be used to monitor or examine the product to improve the product and questions can be asked on an incidental basis to the person who ordered the ticket. The data is used exclusively by Foam and is not provided to third parties.
8. Applicable law
Only Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions and the agreement between the buyer and Foam. All disputes arising from the agreement between the buyer and Foam will only be submitted to a competent court in Amsterdam for trial.
