The work of Misha de Ridder (1971) can be seen as an effort to capture ephemeral phenomena in the natural landscape through photography and video.
How the perceptual and the conceptual are intrinsically connected is an important theme in the work.
De Ridder graduated from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht and has had exhibitions amongst others at Foam, FoMu Photo Museum Antwerp, Layr Wuestenhagen Vienna and Museum of the City of New York. His work is part of the collection of Foam.
During the evening we visit his studio in Amsterdam and Misha de Ridder explains how he approaches his work. This visit is exclusively for Club Foam members and takes place from 19.30 - 21.00 hrs.
