Teen Tours at Foam Talent London 2017
During the Foam Talent exhibition in London, Foam and Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall co-organise the educational programme Teen Tours. The Teen Tours take place on 18 June 2017, the last day of the Foam Talent exhibition.

These tours are given by four London teens, who have prepared their own tours and content following an intensive five week training programme. They choose at least one work to focus on during the tour to the public, to talk about in an interactive way.

JOIN THE TEEN TOURS ON 18 JUNE

ABOUT THE TEEN TOURS
Teen Tours
is a successful concept developed by The Photographers' Gallery, adapted to a different location: the exhibition Foam Talent at Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall. The mentoring programme has been devised in response to the exhibition at Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall, in partnership with Foam and supervised by Beaconsfield. The training programme is delivered by Shan Rixon, who mentors on the Teen Tours programme at The Photographers' Gallery. The programme focuses on young Londoners, who work on different skills through the training program. The young people are recruited through schools, community and youth organisations in the locality of Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall. They are taught in research, presentation skills, through guided visits of curators and engagement with the artists. They choose at least one work to focus on during the tour to the public, to talk about in an interactive way.
