Teachers' Conference
Would you like to learn about ways to use photography in your classroom and the methodology that Foam has developed? Foam invites teachers working in primary and secondary education for an afternoon with presentations and workshops on 10 October 2019.

Contextualizing and interpreting images are essential skills in contemporary society in which images are made and shared rapidly. Education programmes at Foam focus on looking at and reflecting on images. By looking, discussing and photographing together, students develop a critical view of their environment and an open attitude towards each other. During this programme, we will elaborate on our education policy and pay special attention to a number of (new) programmes. There will be presentations and workshops by curators and education professionals that introduce you to the museum and its methodology. You will be introduced to working methods suitable to apply in the classroom and the programme allows room for the exchange of ideas and experiences.
