Museumnacht 2018
During Museumnacht the entire museum is all about exploring photography and the stories behind it.

UNDER A CHILDISH SUN | 9pm – 12.10am
Specially for this Museumnacht, Foam invited artist Marlou Fernanda to create work inspired by the lifework of photographer Masahisa Fukase. Expect performance and video art in which the relationship between the photographer and his wife comes to life.

FUKASE FAMILY FOTOSTUDIO | 7pm – 2am
For the series Family, Fukase portrayed his family in his parent’s photo studio year after year. Sometimes serious, then playful, but always special. Whether you are out with your real family or not, bring along your arty brothers and sisters and make your own family portrait under the guidance of artist Marlou Fernanda. Take a picture of your new 'family' in a limited edition passepartout. Do not get startled by a half-naked family member.

The Fukase Family Fotostudio is made possible by corporate partner Olympus.

SASUKE SCHMINK | 7pm – 1am
In the cabinets of the exhibition Masahisa Fukase - Private Scenes you will find cat pictures avant la lettre. The photographer took his cat Sasuke everywhere and often photographed him. Once you have seen how, you do not want anything else than to look as beautiful Sasuke. Fortunately, the performers from Non De Gêne like to give you some whiskers.
