Look Across the Water!
As part of the project Look Across the Water!, Foam and Red Hook Labs present the works of 12 young photographers (ages 15 - 21) from both Brooklyn and Amsterdam.

The exhibition is the result of a series of four workshops, in which the participants researched their own vision and identity as humans and photographers. They all wrote personal statements in which they asked themselves questions such as: Who am I as part of today’s society? What really matters to me?, and How do I show this in my photography?

Cactus & Milk – Flore Aubert, 15 years old

The result of their photographic journey can be seen in the exhibition Look Across the Water!, simultaneously shown at Red Hook Labs, Brooklyn, New York and at Foam.

Join us for the festive opening at Foam Café on Thursday 21 March from 18.00 hours onwards.

ABOUT LOOK ACROSS THE WATER!
In the international education project Look Across the Water! participants become acquainted with the power of photography. They discover who they are and work closely together with peers on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

With special thanks to Koninklijke Rijnja Repro for producing all prints in this exhibition
