During Photo London, Foam and Beaconsfield will organise a special programme at Beaconsfield with exclusive, curatorial breakfast tours through the Foam Talent exhibition and an in-depth talk with artists and experts.

On the mornings of Thursday 19 May and Saturday 21 May (FULL), Foam curator Mirjam Kooiman guides participants through the Foam Talent exhibition, discussing the artists and work present in this group show that presents Foam's views on the current state of photography.

On Friday 20 May, starting at 9.30, Foam presents a more in-depth programme at Beaconsfield, including discussions and talks with experts from the international photography field. Artists and writers from Foam Magazine Talent issue #42 join the conversation.
Foam Talents present: Alessandro Calabrese, Heikki Kaski, Sjoerd Knibbeler, Mariam Medvedeva, Marton Perlaki, Constantin Schlachter and Jean-Vincent Simonet. Writers present: Lewis Bush and Gemma Padley.

Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall in London has provided a laboratory and presentation space for contemporary art and artists since 1995 supported, until recently, by regular public funding. Beaconsfield’s reputation rests on the staging of an international programme of commissions (beacons) in a range of art mediums (field) through exhibitions, residencies, talks and events. The recent arrival of Damien Hirst’s museum (the Newport Street Gallery) in one of the neighbouring buildings, is a promising development for the transformation of the area into an upcoming arts district.

Located in London’s iconic Somerset House, Photo London runs from19 until 22 May 2016, with a VIP preview on Wednesday 18 May. The fair includes over 80 of the world’s leading international photography galleries and includes an enhanced publishers section and extended Discovery segment; a platform for emerging galleries to showcase new talent. Photo London is distinguished by the quality and diversity of its public programme.

The exhibition Foam Talent London is made possible thanks to the generous support of principal benefactors Spaces, WeTransfer, with additional support from Kleurgamma Fine-Art Photolab and The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in London, United Kingdom.

The annual Foam Magazine Talent Issue and the related Talent Programme are supported by the Niemeijer Fund.

Foam is supported by BankGiro Loterij, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Delta Lloyd, Gemeente Amsterdam, Olympus and the VandenEnde Foundation.
