Foam Talent 2013
Foam focuses on photography talent even more than usual with Foam Magazine Talents 2013, a travelling billboard exhibition featuring the work of sixteen international young photographers.

All Foam Talents were selected from submissions made in response to the magazine’s annual Talent Call. The competition is open to photographers of any nationality under the age of 35. Over 1500 photographers submitted their portfolios. The results are published in Foam Magazine #36.

The billboard exhibition Foam Magazine Talents 2013 tours Amsterdam, beginning on 2 August 2013 at the Mercatorplein, then onto the water of the Keizersgracht and finishing at Unseen, the international photography fair at the Westergasfabriek.

The work of seven of the sixteen talents selected for Foam Magazine’s Talent Issue is being exhibited on seventeen very large billboards at Mercatorplein. This outdoor exhibition is a magnificent, kingsized preview of the outstanding work of this year’s talents. The billboards can be seen at the Mercatorplein until 25 August.

The three-week outdoor exhibition on the canal will be an extension of the museum. Everybody in Amsterdam is welcome, whether by foot, bike or boat.
