Children's workshop
Are you between 8 and 12 years old and do you want to learn how to take better photos? Then sign up for our children's workshop!

Foam organizes a photography workshop for children during the Christmas holidays.

You will begin the workshop by exploring the exhibition Hiroshi Sugimoto - Black Box in Foam. Here, you will look for inspiration for the photos you will create yourself during the workshop. you will discuss what you see with the other children under the guidance of a museum educator.

After the short tour you continue the workshop where you get to take photographs with a small group. Don’t forget to bring an item or object for during the workshop, like a beautiful leaf, a tree branch, a feather found on the street or a special object from home.

During the workshop you will learn how to take photographs with various types of lighting and create a line pattern with your interesting object. While you are taking photographs, the teacher will help and give you tips on how to improve your end result.

At the end of the workshop all the children will present their best photo on a large screen. You will leave this workshop an even better photographer and you get to take your best photo home on print!

Please note: this workshop is in Dutch.
