Video still Hidden Realities: A conversation between Laia Abril and Carmen Winant

Laia Abril and Carmen Winant both use in-depth research and mixed-media installations to develop projects around underexposed phenomena, mostly related to current and historical feminist ideals. The online Zoom conversation is the continuation of an expansive email conversation between the two, examining their methods of storytelling, the position of the artist relating to their subject and questions the relationship between art and activism.
