On Transience – The Ebb & The Flow

Foam neemt duurzaamheidsmaatregelen om het historische gebouw klaar te maken voor de toekomst. Van 2 maart tot en met 8 oktober 2026 worden verschillende werkzaamheden uitgevoerd om de duurzaamheids-standaarden te verbeteren. Tijdens deze periode blijft het museum gedeeltelijk geopend voor publiek.

Bezoekers kunnen in deze periode mogelijk hinder ondervinden van de werkzaamheden, zoals tijdelijke geluidsoverlast of aangepaste bezoekersroutes. Wij streven ernaar eventuele overlast tot een minimum te beperken. Foam blijft vrijwel de gehele periode geopend, met een tijdelijke sluiting van 27 augustus tot en met 16 september 2026. Op 17 september heropent het museum met drie nieuwe tentoonstellingen.

Elk nummer is gewijd aan een specifiek thema dat wordt onderzocht aan de hand van werk van zowel wereldberoemde beeldmakers als nieuwere, opkomende talenten. Begeleidende essays, interviews en opinies van experts in het veld komen samen om een diepgaand en kritisch gesprek te vormen.

It is a significant award, with nominations reflecting responses from many geographies.
