To the movies: Lartigue | Wes Anderson
Jacques Henri Lartigue’s carefree and optimistic photography form an important source of inspiration to director Wes Anderson.

Anderson features multiple photos by Lartigue in his films, and even pays homage to the photographer’s extravagant brother in his film The Life Aquatic. In the afternoon of March 19th, the connection between these two visual creators will be explored through film screenings at Kriterion combined with lecture by Foam curator Zippora Elders with sweet pastry, sandwiches and a selection of teas.
