Your Foam 21/22

Want to know what the Your Foam team of 21/22 is up to? Stay updated about the different assignments and events organised by six enthusiastic students.

The Your Foam 21/22 team consists of six MBO students from the studies Event Producer (ROC van Amsterdam) and Media and Editing (ROC van Amsterdam). As an interdisciplinary team, they work together with various Foam departments, focusing on including a young audience at their own events and creating workshops that are relevant to MBO students. The content and shape of the assignments are managed by the group itself. In this way, they provide Foam with advice and lay a foundation for the future.

"We are Farhana, Demelsia, Jaden, Esmée, Julian and Eva and we are the new Your Foam team. We are a fun, young and diverse group, that is motivated to work hard for Foam. In our team, we look at the museum with a new and creative view. We want to offer an experience to both young and old, so that visiting a museum becomes more interesting. We strive to ensure that visitors go home with a unique experience."

The team is supervised by external professional Yahaira Gezius.

On the 3 February, Your Foam 21/22 organises a private programme for the exhibition of life of love of sex or movement of hope by Liz Johnson Artur, in collaboration with LostProject.

For this evening, LostProject, an Amsterdam based multidisciplinary storytelling collective, has been asked to make a substantive contribution with their regular programme LostWords. In a three-part performance, the collective will reflect on the works and themes from the exhibition by photographer Liz Johnson Artur. Interaction with the public is of great importance. During the evening you will be guided by the Your Foam team members and you will have a conversation with them, while seated in the exhibition of Liz. The main themes for this evening are faith, friend groups, society and media.

Your Foam is supported by Fonds 21, VSB Fonds and Lerak Foundation.

Foam is supported by de VriendenLoterij, Foam Members, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, the VandenEnde Foundation and the City of Amsterdam.

In 2022 Foam receives additional support from the Mondriaan Fund.
