Each year, Unseen is the place where over fifty renowned galleries from across the world reveal their photographers' most recent work by way of 'premieres'.

At Unseen, work is considered to be a 'premiere' if it has never been shown in a gallery, at any other institute or even online. As such, Unseen brings together important developments in contemporary photography and makes them available to the public. However, Unseen is more than a photography fair. The fair is enriched with exhibitions, lectures and debates, films and documentaries, and the presentation of photo books and their creators. In short, Unseen is 'a fair with festival flair'.

Foam was one of the founding partners of Unseen Amsterdam, in collaboration with Vandejong and Platform A.
