Encounter
by Silvia Rosi

Inspired by an image of her young mother as a market trader in Lomé, Togo, Silvia Rosi retraced her parents’ immigrational journey from Togo to Italy. In her self-portraits, Rosi performs her family history recreating both visual and oral narratives through the combination of photography, text, and video.

Encounter is featured in the online exhibition of Foam Talent 2021.
