Walk-in Workshop Gordon Parks
Foam offers various walk-in workshops during the summer. You can etch a photogravure, cut and paste a photo collage with other participants or create a photo with a personal story in the Foam Studios, inspired by the current exhibitions at Foam.

Get inspired by Gordon Parks by creating your own version of Invisible Man (1952). Gordon Parks staged various scenes in order to capture the surreal elements of Ralph Ellison's novel Invisible Man. Parks used photo montage and street photography to create the series A man becomes invisible, a series about a man living under the city in a room lit by hundreds of lamps; an image that speaks to people's imagination.

The walk-in workshops at Foam Studios are available to all ages.

Gordon Parks - I Am You. Selected Works 1942 – 1978 is made possible with support from the American Embassy and the Democracy and Media Foundation. With special thanks to The Gordon Parks Foundation. The exhibition was organised in collaboration with C/O Berlin.

Foam is supported by the BankGiro Loterij, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, City of Amsterdam, Delta Lloyd, Olympus and the VandenEnde Foundation.
