Walk-in Workshop Adam Jeppesen
Foam offers various walk-in workshops during the summer. You can etch a photogravure, cut and paste a photo collage with other participants or create a photo with a personal story in the Foam Studios, inspired by the current exhibitions at Foam.

For the series Ghosts (2013-2014), photographer Adam Jeppesen experimented with photogravure: a printing technique whereby a copper sheet is coated with a light-sensitive gelatin which is etched / pressed onto paper. The result is a high quality print that reproduces the detail and continuous tones of a photograph. Jeppesen etched the same images several times but without adding new ink to the plate. The photographic works faded until there was no ink left, leaving only a shadow of the landscape. During the workshop, you will be using over-the-counter materials to make your own 'ghosts' of an Adam Jeppesen photograph.

The walk-in workshops at Foam Studios are available to all ages.

The exhibition Adam Jeppesen – Out of Camp is made possible with support from the Danish Arts Foundation and was organised in collaboration with C/O Berlin.

Foam is supported by the BankGiro Loterij, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, City of Amsterdam, Delta Lloyd, Olympus and the VandenEnde Foundation.
