Open Garden Days 2017
During the Open Garden Days, 30 locations, both private and institutional, open their gardens to the public.

Behind the facades of Foam lies a charming city garden, which usually remains hidden from visitors and passers-by. In the garden you will find ferns, rose bushes, plum trees, hydrangeas and more.

Within the building, four exhibitions are on show. As you leave the garden, you will enter the exhibition Out of Camp by Danish artist Adam Jeppesen. Foam's quaint city garden will make room for the rough mountain passes and remote landscapes that Jeppesen documented during his solitary 487-day journey from the North Pole to Antarctica. Foam Cafe serves delicious coffee, tea and a variety of sweets for a short break between visiting Amsterdam’s secret gardens.

OPEN GARDEN DAYS | 16 - 18 June
On the Amsterdam canals, between Brouwersgracht and Amstel, a selection of the most beautiful gardens will open their doors to the public. Majestic old trees, rare plants, beautiful garden houses and both classic and modern gardens can be seen in the private plots, which are rarely accessible to the public.

The entrance for the Open Garden Days at Foam can be found at the museum’s entrance, Keizersgracht 609.
