Platform
the Foam project space is an important part of Foam's mission to support new talents and provide a platform for innovative developments in photography.
In 2008 Foam started collecting contemporary photography by building a museum collection. The Foam collection also includes selected works by 3h artists. This exhibition is a first presentation of this work from the collection.

As part of the 3h exhibition series and as an extension of the talent programme, Foam collaborated with the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Students of the Graphic Design department were invited to design a booklet for each exhibition in collaboration with the artist and Foam curator. The publications often include either a focused essay about the work of the exhibiting artist or an interview. This collaboration with the Graphic Design student provides an important professional opportunity to young creatives in the field and exemplifies Foam 3h as a room for experimentation.

This exhibition is made possible by the Gieskes-Strijbis Fonds.
