Visit Foam

During the workshops and guided tours for higher education, students focus on the specific context of the exhibitions and are challenged to actively reflect on the images.

Participatory tour

Participatory tour

Viewing photography and talking about it as a group will make you a more conscious viewer of photography. You form your own personal opinions and compare these with the ideas of your classmates. Enjoying in-depth viewing and increasing your discoveries are the central focus.

What's your story?

What's your story?

What is your story about the photos at Foam? Under the guidance of a museum teacher, you are challenged to ask your own questions about the photos in the museum. You transform these questions into an unusual, funny, creative or touching story, inspired by a favourite photo in the museum.

Photography and new media

Photography and new media

Get a behind-the-scenes look at Foam and discover the museum's educational vision during this workshop. Find out how Foam uses new media to stimulate visitors to look at photography with a greater awareness. You'll also get involved yourself by making your own interpretation of a photo in the museum and converting this into a podcast.

Portretworkshop

Portretworkshop

The best way to learn something is to do it yourself! In the portrait photography workshop you and your classmates will make a special portrait with a digital camera. The workshop is linked to the exhibitions in the museum.
