What's Next at Les Rencontres d'Arles
4 - 20 July 2011

What's Next?, Foam's 10th anniversary project, continues with exhibitions and activities from 4 to 20 July at Les Rencontres d'Arles, one of the world's most prominent and influential photography festivals.

La Bourse du Travail
Foam's base during the festival is at la Bourse du Travail at 3, Rue Parmentier in Arles, France. It is at the same time an exhibition space, a working studio and a place to meet and debate the future of photography.
On display is visionary work from Foam's collection (with work by Danielle van Ark, Constant Dullaart, Joris Jansen, Katja Mater, Jaap Scheeren, Anne de Vries and Vincent Zedelius) and from Foam Magazine's annual Talent issues, reflecting a long-standing commitment to emerging artists.

La Bourse is also a working space for students from both the National School of Photography in Arles (L'École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie Arles) and the Dutch Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Along with their presentations, visitors can enjoy a daily zine, film interviews and radio broadcasts which explore the question 'What's Next?' and what it means to next generation artists.

La Roquette
In association with Regards et Memoires, What's Next? is also present on the streets of Arles. A selection of Foam Magazine talents from this and last year hangs on the walls of shops and bars as well as in the streets of La Roquette.

Foam invites you to celebrate its 10th anniversary. At July 8th 2011 from 17.30 - 20.00 at Bourse de Travail, 3 rue Parmentier, Arles.
