Kadir van Lohuizen

Kadir van Lohuizen (1963, the Netherlands) is an independent photojournalist. He has covered conflicts throughout the world, but he is probably best known for his projects on the seven rivers of the world and the diamond industry (published as photobooks Diamond Matters, the diamond industry and Aderen). In Via PanAm Van Lohuizen brings the focus back to Latin America, which is hardly visible in today's news coverage. He has received numerous prizes for his work, and established with ten others the photo agency NOOR images (Amsterdam).
