London | Foam Talent
Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam and Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall in London proudly present Foam Talent, a group exhibition featuring 21 photography talents who represent an international range of innovative image-makers under the age of 35.

With more than 100 photographs, varying from digital work, to colourful lightboxes to analogue black and white prints and several installations, the exhibition showcases a new generation of inspiring photographers who deploy their skills to address topics ranging from advertorial and commercial influences to reinterpreting the documentary qualities of the medium and its truth values. Through this diversely installed exhibition hosted by Beaconsfield in London, Foam presents its views on the current state of photography, creating a platform that introduces emerging talents in the international world of photography.

The synergy between Amsterdam’s leading photography museum and London’s laboratory and presentation space for contemporary art and artists, lies in their focus on identifying and developing new talent. Foam and Beaconsfield both direct their energies into providing a platform for the current generation of contemporary young artists, facilitating their exposure to a growing international audience.

ABOUT BEACONSFIELD
Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall in London has provided a laboratory and presentation space for contemporary art and artists since 1995 supported, until recently, by regular public funding. Beaconsfield’s reputation rests on the staging of an international programme of commissions (beacons) in a range of art mediums (field) through exhibitions, residencies, talks and events. The recent arrival of Damien Hirst’s museum (the Newport Street Gallery) in one of the neighbouring buildings, is a promising development for the transformation of the area into an upcoming arts district.
