Issue #2 / In the Vondelpark / Directed by Paul Huf

Foam asked various photographers, amateur and professional, to send in their favourite photo anonymously, and to explain why they thought it was their best. From all the submissions, Foam selected 150 photos and displayed these on lampposts in the Vondelpark, where they were on view all summer. A selection of the photos is included in this magazine along with the photographers' comments.

The other half of this issue is dedicated to the work Paul Huf, one of Holland's most celebrated photographers. The magazine presents a selection of his fashion photos. Huf used to direct the entire photo session: he devised the concept, staged the lighting, chose the models and defined the styling. This magazine shows both staged photographs and pictures of his two favourite models in preparation for the actual fashion shoot. All the photos were taken in the 1960s.
